while Konsole background transparency does work with kwin effects or compiz, it
cant be enabled with kompmgr or xcompmgr.
I even tried with --force-transparency, but the results are the same.
xcompmgr and kompmgr are able to perform transparency because other plasma
widgets (for example panels and krunner) are transparent, so i think it is
definitely an issue with konsole.
