Hm, sorry, but I can *not* confirm that the problem goes away by increasing the
font size or turning off the Smooth option. It remains the same, only larger
and uglier :) Playing around with DPI settings also didn't help.

I haven't restarted KDE, though, after changing any settings, maybe that would
have made a difference.
