I agree that I was a little enthusiastic in my comment, but I'm quite delighted
to see that there finally will be a work-around for the ugliness on display.

On a sidenote: I never *ever* missed having the ability to display highlighted
characters in konsole as bold (intensive seemed to fit the job perfectly), so
the update in KDE 4 may be seen as a regression or at least a needless addition
as Valentine states in his code review.
