Summary: URL detection gives wrong URL, if at the end of a line
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: asklemet at cc.hut.fi

Version: (using KDE 4.3.5)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

The problem is that if an URL (eg. a link in a e-mail read by pine) is located
at the end of a line, and it doesn't continue on the next line, konsole
underlines the URL, the next lines and everything up until the first
end-of-word. Now if you open this link, it includes extra characters to the end
and therefore the URL will not work unless you manually remove them.

Example:

I'm reading a mail in Pine and it says:

""
See our new webpages at: http://www.kde.org

Pages include new content etc. ""

Hovering the URL underlines "http://www.kde.org<newline><newline>Pages", and
not just the URL "http://www.kde.org" like it should.

Also the URL detection doesn't terminate the url with some characters nor ')'
if the URL is in paranthesis.
