Starting konsole background mode with:-
konsole --background-mode 
fails with:-
[baz at jackodesktop ~]$ konsole --background-mode
QMetaObject::invokeMethod: No such method
Konsole::Application::loadCommandLineOptionsForNewInstance()
[baz at jackodesktop ~]$ Undecodable sequence: \001b(hex)[36l

I have tested in KDE 4.5.3 and 4.5.2 with the same result.

A process is started, but F12 does nothing. 

Reproducible: Always
