Summary: konsole "Clear Display" only clears the visible part
                    of the screen
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: foss-ml at wm1.at

Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Konsole "Clear Display" (German translation: "Terminal leeren") only adds empty
lines to output. If the terminal is scrolled back and one clicks "Clear
Display", the only thing that changes are the scroll bars, but it does not
remove any content.

At least per default, the whole terminal content should be removed when
clicking on "Clear Display" or another menu entry should be added. The current
situation might even be a (small) security problem - think of accidently
visible passwords in the terminal.
