Just to clarify - by 'regular old konsole' are you referring to Konsole / KDE
4.  In other words, if you run:

konsole -graphicssystem native

How does it compare with:

konsole -graphicssystem raster

What about other Qt/KDE applications (the -graphicssystem switch works with
anything written in Qt 4)?
