Yet, konsole for the same purpose, in the settings -> manage profiles -> show
in menu, uses such UI

Yes, nothing when off. This is UI bug and with this dialog quite misleading
because all actions for this dialogs are presented as regular buttons, so user
could expect the button "show in menu" as well.
