Summary: activity auto monitoring (wish)
Product: konsole
Version: 2.2.1
Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: trent.bugzilla at trentonadams.ca
Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
I would like to see an auto monitor feature that turns on auto monitoring when
leaving a konsole session, and off when entering a konsole session. The
feature should be configurable to be on/off by default. That way, if a person
desires, they can turn it on for only one konsole session, or all of them.
Given that you have code to do the monitoring already, it should be relatively
easy to change the GUI to support this, wouldn't it?
Boy, would I love to see this feature. I am in the process of setting up my
notebook with Gentoo Linux, and I am copying documents over from various
disparate locations. It sure would be nice to get a notification when all of
the konsole sessions are finished what they were supposed to be doing.
