This error occurs after connection with remote computer ( SGI HPC , OS IRIX).
After connection I try to use SGI's GUI:  toolchest. Toolchest it is the widget
in form of menu and it appears on the display. But when I want to choose from
this menu entry:  Open Unix Shell,  instead of monitor window,  I get message:
  Can't open font FixedWidthFont; using default
  Assertion failed: foo, file tuColorMap.c++, line 61
