hmm, seems one can fix/workaround this by doing

* edit current profile
* advanced
* mouse interaction: remove the "/"

so maybe this is not a bug after all ?
i do find the description of the item in the profile confusing (on my system it
is called "word characters", and i think it should be "word separator
characters")
