Matthew - the problem with Konqueror was that it was jack of all trades, master
of none.  Yes, it was cool that you could have an image, several PDF and a few
web pages all open at once in tabs but it was never a great image viewer, never
a great PDF viewer and never a great web browser.  Plus the user interface was
highly context sensitive and my recent experience watching videos of users
trying to use software suggests that gets really confusing.
