When will this finally be fixed in mainline code? It used to work correctly in
KDE 3, so the code to do it should still be out there somewhere. Would it be
possible for you to back out that change from CVS? Also, the menu "sizes" in
KDE3's konsole, which allowed to quickly pick from a list of several usual
sizes was great.

We want to have our konsoles open with sane sizes again!
