Summary: No "Save As" or way to create a new profile in "Edit
                    Profiles"
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: drankinatty at suddenlinkmail.com

Version: (using KDE 4.2.96)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

The is no convenient way to create a new profile from the rt-click context menu
or from within "Edit Current Profile" dialog. The broken kde3 konsole feature
is to be able to edit your current profile and change the name and have the new
profile "ADDED" as a new profile instead of "REPLACING" the current profile.

In fact, the only way you can make a new profile is to (1) Unhide the Menu Bar,
(2) Settings -> Manage Profiles, (3) Choose "New Profile" and then you can
enter a new name for the profile and define it.

The "Edit Current Profile" has always allowed you to save a new profile by
simply entering a new name and this functionality has always been available
from the rt-click context menu. This needs to be fixed.

Additionally, the rt-click context menu is missing 70% of the features
available in the kde3 context menu. The differences are shown in the attached
screenshots. This functionality needs to be restored. Konsole in KDE4 is
cumbersome to use compared to konsole in KDE3. All features accessible in the
KDE3 konsole context menu should be available in the kde4 konsole context menu.

Comparison screenshots provided in following post.
