Same here. Konsole must not mess with the window size; there are too many
console applications which depend on 80 chars per line.

Suggested fix: Expand the prefs to say:

o Remember last size
o Fixed size: XX x XX characters / pixels
o Open maximized
[] Same size for all profiles
