Version:           2.2 (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Gentoo)

OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27-gentoo-r8

I have installed KDE 4.2 in a fresh system. From the first start of KDE, I'm
unable to use Konsole. The application starts without problems, but doesn't
shows the command line, only a grey rectangle.

The application menubar and tabs work, but I can't input anything. I don't see
any error message or crash while running the app.

If I start only XOrg (with startx) I can run xterm and konsole and both works
perfectly, but not from KDE.
