Summary: Icon not reset to default on launching a konsole
subsequently
Product: konsole
Version: 2.1
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
ReportedBy: rkrell at gmx.net
Version: 2.1 (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080828)) "release
51.2", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.16-0.1-default
For reproducing:
1. In KDE Menu Editor, I define an application launch with the setting "Run in
terminal" and an alternative icon.
2. On launching this new menu item the application is started with a konsole
"between this", where the chosen item appears for the konsole. A ps -auxw gives
me a 'konsole -caption ... -icon ...' for this.
3. In this constellation, if I launch another standard konsole even without
defining an alternative icon for it, then the icon of the above 'konsole ...
-icon' (see 2.) is taken instead of the default one for konsole. The same
happens on launching further konsoles, their icons are not reset any longer.
I would expect the pre-defined icon for the second konsole window instead of
using a cached icon of the first one.
