Summary: several hd accessing (causing wake ups) from konsole
           Product: konsole
           Version: 2.2
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: brauliobo at gmail.com

Version:           2.2 (using 4.1.64 (KDE 4.1.64 (KDE 4.2 >= 20080828)),
compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.26-ARCH

hello,

as I was pursuing less watts consumption on my computer, the hd was the last
target.

after some help from the lkml list, i could trace the problem
(http://lkml.org/lkml/2008/9/4/499). noatime and nodiratime options did it!

but after going back to kde, the hd clicks (i'm using hd apm set to 128) came
back.
after killing konsole it almost disappeared.

the konsole had tabs with powertop, iotop and htop, and no keyboard activity
was on (so no bash history access).

that's all.
