Hi folks,

preparing an OSS-development on top of KDE's konsole (as of version 4) I
found out, that the DBus interface is still missing. So as agreed upon
with Robert before, I ask here whether or not somebody is actively
working on this interface?

What I need is just basic functionality as konsole had in 3.5 wit DCOP
before, including:

* creating/purging/labelling tabs/sessions
* creating/closing konsole windows (having one already started)
* feeding specific sessions with inputs to be executed (I mean a DBus
interface to the existing "Copy input to" dialogue)

I'm familiar somehow with Qt/KDE API but I must concede I don't know
neither the internals of konsole nor pretty much about DBus.
Nevertheless I (or better we) would implement that interface based
widely on the existing XML IDL available in the source code.

However Robert said, he would be glad to add it, so I continue this
topic here on the list, just to avoid confusion and concurrent redundant
work.

best regards,
Arno
