I support that there be a way to disable bold fonts. This was a top annoyance
in my switch to Kubuntu Intrepid (KDE 4.1) a few days ago. 

And although I consider myself an advanced user, I think the Option deserves to
be changeable in the UI. 

I know that this discussion is not in your realm, but I generally do not
understand why KDE4 aims in this bondage-the-user-direction. Professional users
don't automatically turn dumb when upgrading to KDE4. So what's this stupid
dropping of options out of the UI all about anyways? I too see it as a
regression.
