I already saw:

It is really a pity of this wontfix, because Konsole in KDE4 will simply ignore
all the workflow of KDE users. Millions of users of KDE now have to each, one
by one, recreate their environment. Let's say it takes 10 minutes per user,
let's say there is only one million of KDE users, it makes waste of 19
person-years! Scary.

So my wish would be:
a) provide a preset
a.1) user does not like it at all -- she/he deletes it (I doubt it, user who
runs konsole is rather a power-user)
a.2) it does not work -- user edits it 

b) provide downloadable (from local disk) preset -- so in order to "activate"
this function user has to load it from disk

c) describe in details in Konsole help KDE3 migration common cases -- this is
one of it


ad.a) this is time saver right-away, my favourite but wontfix as I already saw

ad.b) in such case this is my next favourite

ad.c) help is no harm, at least it help reduce some time wasting in recreating
previous settings&environment

Bottom line is -- KDE4 is next version of KDE3, so except the bugs all features
(not the internals) from KDE3 should be present in KDE4. But if you must
interfere  with upgrade, please ease down the process of the upgrading.
