Hmm, you're probably right, this should "just work". But as there's no way to read a users mind you're basically stuck. There's no standard mouse button to use, the only option I can think of is using something like Ctrl+Click, which is hard to discover and somewhat awkward too.

Oh and don't expect any patches from me, waaaaay too little time for hacking :)
