a konsole-kate interoperability bug, stated before at bug #158693:

steps to reproduce:

1.) start kate, start integrated konsole
2.) click on the konsole window, press ctrl+s
3.) press ctrl+q to resume

kate will shutdown.

it is suggested to look into konsole shurtcut keys here...
