ad.#2 -- true, sorry, I have too tiny pixels (so even small movement causes change in characters even)

ad.#1 -- in systemsettings there is option for showing size, no matter what I set, konsole shows the size info 

I think there should be relevant option in Konsole for it, because user explictly said she/he would like to have size info turned off
