Thanks Felix,

I have checked the /etc/fonts/suse-post-user.conf file and the monospace family alias is exactly like listed above. So you're saying that if i just move <family>DejaVu Sans Mono</font> to be the first preference, that will make it the default choice system wide. Right ?
