Precisely. After I reboot I tried first without --enable-transparency, and from that konsole launched another one with --enable-transparency. As you say, in that case, transparency doesn't work. Otherwise, starting with a fresh transparency-enabled konsole works like a charm, and I'm really (*really*) pleased at the results. Looks splendid !
