Turning off the scrollback doesn't completely fix it. I also see the problem if
I use shift with the left or right arrow keys to change Konsole tabs. It seem
like it's just not repainting. Setting Visual Effects to None in Gnome (which I
believe turns off Compiz) fixes it. I do think this is related to <a
href="http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=163176>Bug 163176</a> but the
comments there seem to indicate it's not just NVidia.
