Summary: \u300a, \u300b should have full width
           Product: konsole
           Version: 2.1
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: richardpku at gmail.com

Version: 2.1 (using KDE 4.1.3)
Compiler: GCC 4.2.4
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

Character 300a and 300b ("《》") have full width (as wide as 2 ASCII
characters in Monospace fonts) according to the Unicode Standard Annex #11.

Most other programs and libraries, including gnome-terminal, xfce-terminal and
libncurses, follow the standard and assume they are full-width characters. But
Konsole does not. As a result, misalignment occurs if a ncurses program
displays these characters in Konsole.
