According to ECMA-48, the sequence "ESC [ 1 m" turns on "bold or intensified text".  In most terminal emulators I've used, including Konsole in KDE 3.5.9, there exists an option to select whether this sequence will actually use a bold font.  I feel that KDE4 should provide the same option, although it does not necessarily have to be present in the UI.  This feels like a regression from the behavior of KDE 3.5.9, and I would like to see it fixed, if possible.
