Summary: Marking/Selecting text jumps to left of next display to
                    the left
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: gkrueger browsermedia com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.7)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

While marking/selecting text on a Konsole window that is on the left edge of a display in a multiple display system (such as when using NVIDIA Quadro NVS 400), if the mouse is dragged too quickly against the left edge of the display, it will jump to the left edge of the next display to the left (instead of the right edge of the next display to the left).

This issue likely only occurs when configuring the displays to each have independent workspaces (instead of one big workspace across all displays).

This is not an issue in other programs, such as Konqueror. So, it may possibly be an easy fix (after getting a workstation configured for multiple independent monitors).

It is irritating, but not a big deal. And, the problem can be circumvented by moving the mouse slowly enough that it cannot jump the Konsole window margin.

There are really 2 issues to address here (in order). The first issue to address, is getting the mouse to jump to the correct side (right side) of the next display on the left.

The second issue to address, is getting Konsole to recognize that the mouse has jumped to a different display, and bring it back to the interior of the window on the correct display.
