At a first glance, Konsole on KDE4 seems to consume more CPU than
Konsole-KDE3.
This is a first point, which probably main affects the performance also in my
Konsole KPart.

If you think it is useful, i can attach the output of `top' for
instance for some
time, to provide you an example of the two loads.
