Summary: konsole tasks are not grouped anymore
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: hawk pld-linux org

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.6)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.6 (PLD Linux) Configured with: ../configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib --libexecdir=/usr/lib --infodir=/usr/share/info --mandir=/usr/share/man --enable-shared --enable-symvers=gnu --enable-threads=posix --enable-__cxa_atexit --enable-languages=c,c++,f77,objc,ada,java,ksi --enable-c99 --enable-long-long --disable-multilib --enable-nls --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld --with-system-zlib --with-slibdir=/lib --without-x i686-pld-linux
OS: Linux

Since I've updated from KDE 3.5.5 to 3.5.6 Konsole tasks are not grouped anymore. I've recently updated to KDE 3.5.7 and it still doesn't work as it should. I'm using "Group similiar tasks: always" in taskbar preferences. Other applications are grouping just fine. To be sure that this is not related to my user profile I've tried this on clean install of system & KDE with clean user account. Result was exactly the same.

Loaded plugins: none
Backtraces: none :(
How to reproduce: set "group similiar tasks" to always and open two or more konsole windows
Expected behaviour: all konsole windows should be grouped into one tab on taskbar.

I'm using PLD Linux, official binary package. Both spec and patches used for building KDE for PLD are available in CVS. It may be accessed via WWW at http://cvs.pld-linux.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb/
