Summary: Wish: Notification when Monitor commands are activated
                    through keyboard shortcuts
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: anishmuttreja gmail com

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

I use keyboard shortcuts for the Monitor for Activity/Silence commands. Having keyboard shortcuts for these is quite handy. However, on pressing the shortcut there is no notification about whether the command was successful.
This is unlike when one activates monitoring through the context menu, where the icon changes upon selecting the command. It would be nice to have some form of visual notification like a discrete popup, with the message "this session is being monitored for ..", or maybe differently colored icon for tabs that are being monitored.

Thanks
Anish
