           Summary: Terminal sessions hang occasionally
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: david.reite gov bc ca

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.5.5)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
Compiler: gcc version 4.1.1 20060525 (Red Hat 4.1.1-1)
OS: Linux

While using Konsole, while using a single session or multiple sessions in tabs, the currently running session will occasionally hang unexpectedly. Other tabbed sessions (if open) are still available and responsive. The hung session can be closed using Session/Close Session. New sessions can be started normally. This happens quite frequently (two or three times over a seven hour workday). From my experience, it appears to always occurs during user input, either straight keyboard entry or pasting text. It occurs whether or not I'm using vi/emacs/other text applications, or during ssh sessions to other machines so it doesn't appear application specific.
