I am not so sure about that.

The problem with allowing these things to be specified on the command-line is that you then have configuration options coming from many different places, and the user may have different expectations of which settings take priority than I do.

Plus there may be possibility for misunderstanding.  Does "--font" refer to the font used by the menus and dialogs in Konsole or the terminal font?  (I know you mean the latter, but I hope you see my point).
