It seems like a natural extension to "Monitor for Ativity/Silence," from this user's standpoint anyway. It would help me out as well, because I often monitor for silence on compilations (because I need to enter my password at the end before a timeout), but some compilations trigger the silence all the time when GCC takes longer than the watched-for time interval to finish a single object.

I would settle for being able to customise the waiting time on "monitor for silence" though :)
