when i am running mplayer from konsole commandline with some video output modes konsole is broken after mplayer exits - i can not see any text i type (but it is acepted as a command), output from most commands has newlines missing.

this is always reproducible with -vo gl, in some cases also with xv, x11 and others

mplayer is from cvs;
kernel 2.6.16, s3 vt 8375 prosavage8 video card, using savagefb driver.

this is not reproducible with xterm ;)
