Konsole doesn't store parameters being run from window maker
comments
Description:
To reproduce:
===================================
1. Run Konsole from SuSE menu w/ Window Maker.
2. Open multiple session windows inside Konsole window. I rename them (all or
some - from time to time).
3. Use Konsole menu: Settings-> Save as Default.
4. Close Window Maker.
/* Some times I choose save session for window maker. Some times I don't. */
5. Start window maker.
6. The Konsole does not restore windows opened inside it & doesn't restore
names, even for 1st window it opens on start.
===================================
If run from KDE Konsole saves its prefs OK.
On closing, multiple Konsole windows are open, but defaults are saved only
in one. I use Xinerama, traditional multihead. 3 monitors, 2 cards (one agp
dual
head, one pci). I assume that correct beheviour would be saving settings
independently to the window manager it has been started from. Also I assume
that Konsole should save diffrent defaults for diffrent DISPLAY values
(diffrent monitors in this case)
A friend of mine have same trouble in Fedora, thus, think that's the code bug.
He works on notebook PC, thus, probably, doesn't use multihead (not sure).

And also the menu entry should then look like 'save as default for display
$DISPLAY'.
