I confirm that there is a bug, and that I'm out to fix it.

It is only that the earlier fix was not right, and breaks the particular
handling of bold vs. intensive in the konsole. The resulting interpretation
is that of the xterm (bold = bold+intensive), which is plain ugly, and only
hard to read. The interpretation of the konsole is 'bold = intensive', with
some exceptions, when it comes to black-on-white and likely edge cases.
These exceptions are spelled in the .schema files. Now the code handling
of said exceptions is broken.

The bug (and the proposed fix) implies, that the schema is not
properly respected anymore, so you cannot do much tweaks there.
The .schema files as they are should already do precisely what you
demand, it there were not said bug.

I'll find time these days to hunt the bug down. Please excuse the
delay.
