           Summary: Terminal's Transparency not working
           Product: konsole
           Version: 1.6.4
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: belaran gmail com

Version: 1.6.4 (using KDE KDE 3.5.4)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

1. Configuration -> Configure Konsole
2. Model : Here i choose the checkbox to enable "transparency" on my default model.
3. I apply the changes.
4. I save the model's modification.
5. I go back to my terminal : no transparency
6. I create a new session
7. I go again in Configuration -> Configure Konsole, then Model : transparency is checked but no effect.

I look in my .schema file :

# schema for konsole autogenerated with the schema editor

title myDefault

transparency 0.66 5 5 5

# foreground colors
...

When i change the transparency level in the Configuration wizard, the transparency in the file is modified. So Konsole do save my changes but does not apply the modification.

I experiencied this bug with my Kubuntu Dapper with KDE 3.5.4 and Konsole 1.6.4, but i already experienced it with OpenSuSE 10.1.
