[Konsole-devel] KDE 3.3.2 has an undocumented security hole

I run OpenBSD 3.7 release with KDE 3.3.2.
I am the only user of this system.
I run mainly 3 kde programs: Konsole, Konqueror and Kmail.
While Running these programs I frequently see stealth
manipulation of Konqueror toolbar settings and also (as of
today) slealth modifications of files that I am editing via 'view
document source' in Konqueror. You can discount this report,
but there is no longer any doubt in my mind that it is true.
I consider it unlikely (although possible)
that the security hole is in OpenBSD. That leaves KDE.
Any suggestions to me about how to figure out how
this security hole is being exploited will be appreciated.
Nontheless, even with this problem, KDE is an outstanding
product and I look forward to developing for it when I am
finally able to build it myself on OpenBSD.

Tired of having to defend against Malware?
(You know: trojans, viruses, SPYWARE, ADWARE,
KEYLOGGERS, rootkits, worms and popups)
Then Switch to OpenBSD with a KDE desktop!!!
