Reproduce by (for me)
Start konsole
set font to Bitstream Vera Sans Mono

run "pstree"

scroll with the mouse wheel.

This leaves all kinds of junk on the screen. Something to do with those special characters used in the pstree output?

I'm running in utf-8 locale, if that makes a difference.
