That should read "I am having a problem..." :-0
The relation (I might be mistaken here) is that the problem surfaces only with the new version of kde (3.3.1). The problem with the attached spec file exists only in the new kde environment. I have the following in my ~/.bashrc as per the new KDE install directions...
KDEDIR=/home/sv/kde3.3.1
PATH=$KDEDIR/bin:$PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$KDEDIR/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
export KDEDIR PATH LD_LIBRARY_PATH LIBRARY_PATH
Is it possible that this could create incompatibilities with the way gcc works? And if such incompatibilities do exist, is it a gcc problem or KDE problem? I just want to be pointed in the right direction so I don't continue barking up the wrong tree.
