Stephan,

I do not agree with you that this is a duplicate of 34395.  The latter
talks about creating a complete new window.  I'm asking for a new tab only.
I should have added that the new tab creation, should just be simply
taking the Exec part of the session (there is no need to do difficult and
try to cd on a remote machine e.g.).  It is not necessary to duplicate the
whole tab environment, but it is just doing the access to the (remote)
system.
