Summary: No backward compatibility of some command line arguments
           Product: konsole
           Version: 1.3 Beta
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: fwells at wells-net.com

Version: 1.3 Beta (using KDE 3.1.93 (3.2 beta 1), compiled sources)
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2 (Mandrake Linux 9.1 3.2.2-3mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-0.13mdkenterprise

Suggest maintaining backward compatibility of command line arguments. In my
case, the --notoolbar argument was replaced with --notabbar. Arguably, --notabbar
makes more sense, but it also broke about 40 of my kmenu entries.

A better solution might be to advertise only the new argument, but to retain
(perhaps as an internal alias), the ability to use the old argument for the same
function.
