Summary: konsole doesn't start on FreeBSD 5.0 Release
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: FreeBSD
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: cvasilak at freemail.gr

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package
Compiler:          g++ (GCC) 3.2.1 [FreeBSD] 20021119 (release)
OS: FreeBSD

i have just installed kde 3.1 on a FreeBSD 5.0 current. KDE works perfectly
and looks perfectly. Only one slight problem. When trying to execute the
Konsole application, it doesn't open. It opens the little window on the
taskbar informing me that the application is opening but at the end it
doesn't. It just dies silently...

Any ideas ?

Looking in the error screen it states the following
/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/lib/konsole.so: Undefined symbol "ptsname"

Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance,
Christos
