Summary: TERM should be set to "linux"
           Product: konsole
           Version: 1.1.3
          Platform: Debian testing
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: yann at forget-me.net

Version: 1.1.3 (using KDE KDE 3.0.5)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

For the "Terminal" session, the variable TERM should be set to "linux" by default not "xterm", otherwise keys "Home" and "End" do not work.

(keyboard "azerty", France).
(Version 3.0.5a installed from Debian package from http://download.uk.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/latest/Debian/woody/.)

Thanks,
Yann
