Summary: Ctrl+Alt+N differs from "New Shell" menu command
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: a_voloshin at mail.ru

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1.1a)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I set $TERM to xterm-color (instead of default xterm) for `Shell' session (Settings menu => Configure Konsole => Session tab).
After that, when I start new session through Session menu => New Shell, $TERM variable is Ok (xterm-color).
But if I run new session via "Ctrl+Alt+N" ("New Session" command), I get $TERM=xterm.

I guess this is rather unconstintent to have two different settings for new shell. Probably "New Session" should use settings from "New Shell" command.
Or there should be way to specify shortcut for "New Shell" menu item.
