How to Repeat:

- Detach the Terminal Chooser from the Konsole window, 
- open some Terminals.
- type text in your terminal. 
- Click on one of the Terminal buttons to change the Terminal
- type on.....

No Characters appear in the terminal because the keyboard focus is on the terminal chooser.
 After clicking on the terminal window, the window has the keyboard focus and you can start typing. 

Fix:

After selecting a different terminal, the keyboard focus should not stay on the terminal chooser but move to the selected terminal.
