           Summary: problems with echo -n
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: FreeBSD Ports
        OS/Version: FreeBSD
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: konsole-devel at kde.org
        ReportedBy: fallenbr at uol.com.br

Version: (using KDE KDE 3.1)
Installed from: FreeBSD Ports
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.3
OS: FreeBSD

When using `echo -n`, the console gets displaced. Then, if you press the "up" key to get a previous command, and it is bigger than a line, and you use the backspace, usually you can delete your command line.Ex:
joe at localhost# echo -n "FOOBAR"
FOOBARjoe at localhost#
(Then you press "up")
FOOBARjoe at localhost# echo "DODECAHE
DRON"
( Then you press the backspace key multiple times)
FOOBARjoe at localho
